Information the app may need
To register, verify identity, assess eligibility, manage credit and process payments, Chill App may need personal details such as your name, contact information, South African identity information, application information, transaction records and device or security data.
Why information is used
Information may be used to provide the app, verify identity, assess an application, present and administer an agreement, process transactions, prevent fraud, provide support, meet legal duties and improve service reliability.
Who information may be shared with
Information may be shared only where needed with the applicable credit provider, identity or affordability verification services, payment technology providers, participating merchants, hosting and security vendors, professional advisers and authorities where legally required. The final notice must name or categorise the actual operators used.
Security and retention
Reasonable safeguards should be used to protect personal information. Information should be kept only for as long as the service, agreement, legal obligations or legitimate recordkeeping require.
Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access or correct personal information, object to certain processing, request deletion where appropriate, or complain to the responsible party or South Africa’s Information Regulator.
